Different films use title sequences in a variety of ways and forms in order to create some sort of effect on the target audience.
Many title sequences contain similar themes and these themes can be applied to a selection of genres ranging from comedy and romance to horrors and thrillers. Another example of a form of title sequence is the detail-oriented approach where the audience is introduced to themes through relevant close-up or overlapping imagery. This technique can clearly be seen in the film “Se7en”.

Because of its short format and creative license — and sometimes because of their budgets — title sequence real estate is often used to explore elaborate, abstract worlds previously unknown or unseen.
